This Privacy Policy explains how Fimtech AS collects and uses personal information. Fimtech AS and its CEO is responsible for the processing of all personal data.

We use Google Analytics to get statistics on how you as a visitor use our website. The Google Analytics settings is set to anonymize the ip-addresses. Our webservers will collect data like IP, browser type, operating system and screen resolution. We use this data for statistical purposes. Our hosting provider is WPEngine.

We might use a CRM system as part of our Sales and Marketing tools for the purpose of giving you a better and more personalized follow-up after you have shown interest in our products and services. Data used and collected in such a tool may be stored outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Protected by the Privacy Shield Framework.

This information is processed for the legal basis legitimate interest and is used to develop website features and content.

HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?

Website forms: When submitting a form, the data is stored in our CRM system and is deleted upon request.

Newsletter/ Online surveys: We typically send newsletters 1 – 2 times per year via email. In order to send you our newsletters, you must register an email address. The email address is stored in a separate database, not shared with others and deleted when you unsubscribe. The email address will also be deleted if we receive feedback that it is not active. The basis for our email marketing is your consent.

Google Analytics: All data from Google Analytics are anonymized and stored in accordance with applicable legislation.

Emails: Inquiries sent to our general mail account (i.e post/purchase/mail/invoice) will be processed and stored if needed to fulfill our commitments. Data is deleted on request or when not needed.

 

EXTERNAL SOURCES

Some of our pages will use content from external sites like YouTube, Vimeo and Google. We might also provide the functionality to share content on social media.

Google Web Fonts:

For uniform representation of fonts, our pages might use web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose your browser has to establish a direct connection to Google servers. Google thus becomes aware that our web page was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web fonts is done in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our plugin. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.

Our website uses plugins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

If you visit one of our pages featuring a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. Here the YouTube server is informed about which of our pages you have visited.

If you’re logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

YouTube is used to help make our website appealing. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.

Our website uses features provided by the Vimeo video portal. This service is provided by Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.

If you visit one of our pages featuring a Vimeo plugin, a connection to the Vimeo servers is established. Here the Vimeo server is informed about which of our pages you have visited. In addition, Vimeo will receive your IP address. This also applies if you are not logged in to Vimeo when you visit our plugin or do not have a Vimeo account. The information is transmitted to a Vimeo server in the US, where it is stored.

If you are logged in to your Vimeo account, Vimeo allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your Vimeo account.
